Non-Muslim Converted To Islam - Story

"Asalam Alakum, I just wanted to share my story as I see so many on your page. I reverted to Islam in 2005 when I was only 11. I didn't follow it or practice much. But 2 years ago I had a dream which is very unexplainable, I woke up from my dream and taught myself how to pray using YouTube.
I started going to the Mosque and started to learn more about Islam. I then a few months later took my Shahada again. From 2005 until today my family and friends do not agree with my beliefs. They also disagree about me teaching my son about Islam. They wouldn't like it if I start wearing my hijab permanently. But alhamdulillah, I am not afraid of them any more and I am afraid of Allah. I am afraid of judgement day and Allah asking me why I was shy about my religion.
Am I no longer scared of that question because I am no longer shy. I am soooo proud of my religion, I am so happy I found Islam. I am so blessed I am Muslim. Inshallah this Ramadan is a huge turning point for me. Your page is a huge inspiration and is so encouraging. I may lose a lot of people as I already have. But I have Allah and that is all I need.
