My journey to Islam...
It started very simply by typing to a brother online from a chat room. I was just looking to make a friend. However, it didn't workout that way. I found instead the best gift that Allah could give any human being. The knowledge of the right path.
As a girl from North America i didn't know to much about Islam. So, when i read from that brother that he keep on going to say prayers it made me confused but, at the same time very interested.
As a result, I went to the Library and borrowed a book about Islam. I learned that their is only one Allah and Muhammad is his messenger. The more i read the book the more it made sense. When i finished that book. I knew something had changed in me. I felt more alive and appreciate that everything is a gift and a test from Allah swt.
It didn't take me that long before I said my shahada and start practicing my gift of faith.
