What does the word " Hadeet" of the Prophet means?
Answer
The word '' Hadeet '' or '' Hadith '' is actually an Arabic word, which it's meaning is "Sayings" and "Quotes" of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.
The prophet Muhammad peace be upon him has told his companions so many Sayings, about of the most important things in Islam. As he taught his companions a lot of things they narrated them to each other and wrote them down.
After the death of our beloved Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him his companions taught all the Sayings and quotes that he had said to them to their children and their children and so on.
All the Quotes ( Hadeet ) of the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him has been collected and written in books by the Islamist scholars of each generations. For over 1400 years.
Example of a Hadeet:
The Prophet Muhammad -peace be upon him- said:
"Do not belittle any good deeds, even to meet your brother with a smiling cheerful face."
