Question
Was Jesus Crucified and Killed?
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
''And [for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah ." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain.'
Nisaa (women) Surah ( Chapter), Verse #157
This verse states clearly that the Prophet Jesus - son of Mary - Did not get Crucified, and He did not get Killed. in another verse from The Quran, Allah says:
An-Nisaa (women) Surah, Verse #158
. ( بل رفعه الله إليه وكان الله عزيزا حكيما ( 158
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
وَقَوْلِهِمْ إِنَّا قَتَلْنَا الْمَسِيحَ عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَا قَتَلُوهُ وَمَا صَلَبُوهُ وَلَٰكِنْ شُبِّهَ لَهُمْ ۚ وَإِنَّ الَّذِينَ اخْتَلَفُوا فِيهِ لَفِي شَكٍّ مِنْهُ ۚ مَا لَهُمْ بِهِ مِنْ عِلْمٍ إِلَّا اتِّبَاعَ الظَّنِّ ۚ وَمَا قَتَلُوهُ يَقِينًا
النساء 157
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
''Rather, Allah raised him to Himself. And ever is Allah Exalted in Might and Wise.''
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
. ( بل رفعه الله إليه وكان الله عزيزا حكيما ( 158
This verse states clearly that Allah had Raised Jesus - Son of Mary- up unto Himself and saved him from killing. This verse, in fact, constitutes a sufficient answer for every inquirer and doubter.
So, the prophet Jesus -Son of Mary- The messenger of Allah, ''was not Crucified and Killed''.
